Businesses can express their opposition to offshore oil drilling through Surfrider's "Sign the Surfboard" Campaign!
Starting in South Florida, an eco-friendly surfboard is making its way up the coast and at every stop along the way it is being signed by businesses opposed to offshore oil drilling and seismic testing
The board will be presented to Department of the Interior Secretary Sally Jewel in January. Before that it will travel up the coast, from chapter to chapter up to Delaware which is the northern limit of the proposed seismic air gun blasting, which is a method of finding oil and gas deposits. Along the way it will gain as many signatures as possible. We expect the board in early November.
