Are you passionate about protecting Maryland’s coast and strengthening our beach communities? The Surfrider Foundation’s Ocean City, Maryland Chapter is looking for new leaders to step into volunteer Executive Committee roles. If you care about clean water, healthy beaches, and public access to the coast, we’d love for you to bring your energy, ideas, and commitment to our leadership team.
Established in June of 1999, the Ocean City Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation has been protecting Ocean City’s beaches and Maryland’s coastline for more than 25 years. Our chapter is made up of surfers, non-surfers, and beach lovers from across the state who are united by a shared love for the coast and a commitment to protecting our oceans, waves, and beaches for everyone to enjoy.
We believe that the more people who enjoy and feel connected to the coast, the more they’ll work to protect its culture, access, and ecology — and that’s where you come in.
The Ocean City Chapter is seeking new volunteer leaders to join our Executive Committee and help guide the strategic direction of the chapter. Serving as a chapter leader is a meaningful way to make a tangible impact, connect with a passionate community, and help protect the places that make Maryland’s coast so special.
