Happy New Year
A quick look back will let you know that Surfrider Foundation had a stellar year. We want to thank you for that and enlist your help in 2017.
In 2016 we –

The surfboard traveling from Florida to Washington DC as a moving protest against offshore oil drilling is here. It is already getting signed by local businesses. If your business is against offshore oil drilling, the most important thing you can do is to add your business name to this letter opposing drilling by clicking here.
Ocean City passes a resolution against seismic testing!!
Huge thanks to those who came out and sat through a long Ocean City Council meeting to make sure the Ocean City Mayor and Council passed this resolution against seismic airgun testing and offshore oil drilling.
The Maryland Coast Dispatch mentions the Chapter’s plans for Hands Across the Sand in 2015 in this article. http://mdcoastdispatch.com/2015/05/14/rally-planned-in-resort-against-offshore-drilling/

Thank you, to all who came out for the Christmas Social this past Saturday, at Bull On The Beach. In spite of the heavy rain, there was a great turn-out and a few very lucky people walked away with some awesome prizes. As always, the staff at Bull On the Beach did an outstanding job and they outdid themselves with the food. Hope you can join us next year!!
