2016 in Review
Happy New Year
A quick look back will let you know that Surfrider Foundation had a stellar year. We want to thank you for that and enlist your help in 2017.
In 2016 we –
- We helped stop offshore oil drilling in the Atlantic. http://www.surfrider.org/coastal-blog/entry/federal-government-cancels-plans-for-atlantic-offshore-drilling
- That includes getting local businesses to “Sign the Surfboard” which was delivered to Washington DC officials in February.
Onward to 2017
In order to have a great 2017, we are gearing up for a planning meeting on Saturday, January 21st in the Ocean City area. The Chapter can definitely use your help in the coming year.
