3rd Annual Turkey Day Trash Trot

On a beautiful, sunny November Saturday after Thanksgiving, 30 volunteers with the Ocean City chapter of the Surfrider Foundation helped clean up around the Ocean City inlet. We, while following social distancing protocols, cleaned up the beach, boardwalk, and parking lots areas and collected a total of 96 pounds of trash. Items collected included single use plastics like plastic bags, cups, lids, straws, bottle caps, cigarette butts, EPS foam, fishing materials, balloons, PPE, and more.

We are SO THANKFUL for our volunteers today, and for Chauncey's Surf- Rama for donating prizes to our raffle, and for Rise Up Coffee who donated coffee for our volunteers. THANK YOU!
